About Me

My name is Pankaj Chejara and I am currently working as a developer/researcher at the Center of Education Technology at Tallinn University, Estonia.

My work is primarily focused on working on Educational Technology tools with a focus on AI. I heavily use Python in my work for almost everything (some examples below).

  • Analyzing Facial features (action units) during group conversation to identify markers of high level of group-work
  • Performing students’ modeling for their learning behavior using statistical methods (e.g., t-tests, correlation)
  • Development of a Raspberry-Pi prototype to capture audio data from group conversation and detect the participation level of each individual
  • Building a map-based web application to allow users to explore various energy generation scenarios in the region of Portugal

The libraries I use on day-to-day basis include numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, plotly scipy, seaborn, and Pytorch. I also utilize Python’s Django framework along with SQL, jQuery and Bootstrap’s CSS to build web applications.

I have taught courses on statistics in R in my current role at Tallinn University.

Tip

I am currently expanding my skill set in the field of natural language processing with a focus on large language model (LLM). In particular, I am learning fine tuning of LLMs using langchain library.
